Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or relevant field).
Experience: 2+ years in machinery maintenance, repair, or a similar role.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and attention to detail.
Certifications: (Optional) OSHA safety certification, equipment-specific training, etc.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy parts, work in confined spaces, and travel to client sites.
Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning:
Install, set up, and test machinery at customer sites or company facilities.
Ensure proper calibration and alignment of machines.
Maintenance & Repairs:
Perform regular maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues and repair machinery.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics:
Identify and resolve technical problems using diagnostic tools and manuals.
Provide technical guidance to customers or operators.
Customer Support & Training:
Educate customers or operators on proper machine use and maintenance.
Offer remote or on-site assistance for urgent breakdowns.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain service logs, reports, and records of repairs.
Report recurring machine issues to supervisors for design or process improvements.
Compliance & Safety:
Adhere to workplace safety standards and guidelines.
Ensure that all machinery complies with relevant regulations.
